Family Zone
A dedicated Family Zone is planned for families, children and elders.
Personally, I think this is a useful addition for visitors attending Garvi Vaarso with parents, children or multiple generations of the family, rather than coming only with friends.
What Makes Garvi Vaarso Navratri 2026 Different?
Personally, I find the traditional music format one of the more interesting parts of Garvi Vaarso.
The organizers are moving away from commercial DJ-led Garba and instead focusing on live folk singers, dhol, Manjira and other traditional instruments.
The event is also planned with heritage-style Gujarati decor, including haveli-inspired spaces, Bandhani and mirror-work elements.
For me, the combination of live folk music, traditional Garba, Maha Aarti and heritage decor gives Garvi Vaarso a more cultural feel compared with a typical DJ-focused Garba night.
